Eco-friendly oxalic acid and citric acid mixed electrolytes using for plasma electrolytic polishing 304 stainless steel

چکیده

Abstract The traditional of mixed electrolyte H 2 SO 4 and 3 PO widely used in electropolishing 304 stainless steel. Due to environmental protection safety issues, there is an urgent need develop more environmentally friendly electrolytes. In this study, steel was electropolished by plasma using a oxalic acid citric acid, which are concentration were 0.01 M, 0.05M, 0.1M, 0.3M 0.5 respectively. volume mixing percentage adjusted about 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7 0.8, Plasma power 1.3 kW, electrolysis time 5 1 minutes, results show that low-concentration electrolyte, shortened proper ratio, can obtain better surface roughness. ratio the factors may affect roughness steel, will be discussed text.
